What this policy covers

This policy explains how King of the 1/2 collects, uses, shares, and protects information submitted through this website, including rider registration, tuner sponsorship, public rider profiles, and store functions when those features are active.

Information we collect

Rider registration may collect your name, nickname, Instagram handle, street address, city, state, ZIP Code, phone number, email address, rider photo, motorcycle information, class selection, tuner information, and payment-status information. Tuner sponsorship may collect shop and contact information, a profile image, sponsorship selection, and payment-status information. Store checkout may collect order-related information needed to complete a purchase.

Public engagement and voting

For public engagement features such as weekly bounty voting, we may use privacy-minimized technical identifiers to limit duplicate or abusive votes. These voting controls use hashed identifiers rather than storing raw device identifiers or raw IP addresses in the bounty-vote records.

Public rider information

Approved rider profiles may display public competition information such as rider name or nickname, Instagram handle, state, region, rider photo, motorcycle, class, wins, losses, token count, bounty information, and other tournament results. Street address, city, ZIP Code, phone number, and email address are not intended for public rider profiles.

How we use information

We use submitted information to verify eligibility, prevent duplicate entries, administer registrations and payments, operate races and rankings, maintain rider and tuner profiles, communicate about the event, investigate disputes or abuse, maintain business records, and operate website features.

Payments

Credit-card payments are handled through Stripe Checkout. King of the 1/2 does not collect or store full payment-card numbers on this website. If Cash App is selected, payment confirmation may require administrator verification.

Service providers

We use third-party service providers to operate the website and related services. Current integrations may include Supabase for database, authentication, storage, and server functions; Stripe for card payments; Google services for address validation or mapping; AWS-hosted assets; Resend for transactional email; and Cash App when selected by the user. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.

Cookies and browser storage

The site may use browser storage or essential service cookies for authentication, form continuity, payment return flows, and similar site functions. If analytics, advertising pixels, or other non-essential tracking technologies are added later, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before those technologies are enabled.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to administer the tournament, maintain payment and competition records, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. We use access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted administrative access, and service-provider security controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may contact King of the 1/2 to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted. Some information may need to be retained where required for payment records, dispute handling, tournament integrity, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Children and minors

This website does not establish eligibility for minors by itself. Event participation requirements, including any age, parent or guardian, insurance, or waiver requirements, are governed by the applicable event rules and organizer requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when website features, service providers, or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
